I got one automatically as soon as I got into my university, it only paid for a small part though, and only the first year. A lot of universities offer scholarships themselves which can sometimes cover the entire costs, find if the one you're attending offers anything or maybe transfer somewhere else. Try to avoid student loans, you really do not want to go out into the world with tens of thousands of dollars breathing down your neck.
