Well, what a show it was. Anyone who has been to a BEP Show will tell you the energy is amazing and all the hours of waiting is well worth it.
I got there at about 5:30, and the doors were set to open at 7:00. I was quite close to the entrance so I knew I would get a good spot close to the stage. About an hour later, a lady working at the venue told my sister that another door was about to open and very little people were there. Our door was overcrowded and even though we technically weren't allowed into another door we took the chance and went there. It turned out to be true, as we joined the few people there and that door opened a few minutes later. I ran into the venue with my sister and we got a place about 5 or 6 rows from the front. I was so impressed. That was at about 6:45.... Then began the wait. My sister grew faint from the heat twice.... The wait was so damn long and there was nowhere to sit. We were not allowed any drinks into the venue so everyone was getting dehydrated.
Finally, at about 8:20, almost 3 hours after we arrived there (and we hadn't sat down) and 20 minutes late, the Peas came on. I forgot about my aches and pains immediately as they got into Hey Mama.... It was just crazy... so damn exciting.....
The show lasted for over two hours and from what I can remember they sang these: (In No Order)
Hey Mama [Intro]
Where is the Love? [Along with Bush Hating and Love for those in the Hurricane Two days ago]
Shut Up
Lets get it Started/Retarted (They sang both in one... changing the lyric here and there) [Finale]
Disco Club
Pump It
Dum Diddly
Don't Lie
My Humps
Don't Phunk with my Heart
My Style
Every Member had a Solo Session [Fergie sang a cover of some song, Apl did Apl Song and Bebot, Taboo freestyled and Will played a drum solo with "Drop it like its hot" etc.]
They also covered a couple of songs, like "Lighters Up" by Lil' Kim
They sang parts of the older songs, inbetween main songs, so that was cool too
All in all it was a great show.... great old and new music, with all the hit singles and solo music inbetween. The covers were also great... I don't remember them all but ya, they were awesome. The waiting for hours was totally worth it, and it turns out they weren't strict on cameras and video recording, so I took almost 100 photo's and 12 videos, including a full version of "Dum Diddly" (my fav) with segments of all the Singles etc.
I had such a good time!
