2012 Top Magazine Sellers:Gaga, Katy; Worst: Taylor, Britney

Taylor Swift has tons of fans. Her music sells like crazy.
But her magazine covers don't.
That's what Women's Wear Daily is reporting, based on numbers from Alliance for Audited Media.
And the singer has been on a lot of covers in the past year.
As Vogue's March 2012 covergirl, the issue only sold 329,371 copies, well below Lady Gaga's issue, which registered 602,000 issues.
Swift's Cosmo cover (December 2012) ended up being the worst-selling issue for the magazine with a little over a million copies, or 20% below the six-month average that ended in December 2012. Swift was even outsold by actress Zooey Deschanel, who had the year's second-worst seller.
And while Swift cover did well for Glamour, selling 443,000 copies in November 2012, she was still beaten by Lauren Conrad's May issue, which sold more than 500,000 copies.
So who's a big seller? Katy Perry in September was far and away Elle's big winner, with 293,741 copies sold, reports WWD, while Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears bombed — they had the worst and second-worst covers.
