Singer/actor Nick Lachey's plans to return to TV have been dashed after his new sitcom "She Said, He Said" didn't make the autumn programming lineup. The star had hoped to be back on the small screen, playing a bachelor on the new U.S. network CW.

The 32-year-old shot the pilot for the show, which could possibly return as a mid-season replacement. Meanwhile, Lachey's music career is faring better - his new CD, "What's Left Of Me," debuted on the U.S. Billboard Top 200 chart in the number two position.

It was kinda of expected, because CW only added 2 new shows to their schedule. They really didn't clean out UPN/WB as expected. I think it was a waste for them to have so many pilots and only order 2 into the schedule.

you never know... mid-season some new shows may be added

Apprently they were really disappointed with the pilots, so they didn't have much to chose from.

CW does have new show called "Hidden Palms" and obviously "Reba" for mid-season.
