Australia is one of the wealthiest and highly developed countries in the world. I am grateful to live here. Like any other country though, it still has its fair share of problems. It's a great place to have a really comfortable life, but it isn't the most interesting country to be in either. There are other parts of the world I find more exciting.
I love Lebanon, but the government just steals the taxes we pay instead of using the money to fix this ****ed up country. And the sectarian system that the country follows is absolutely horrible. We have so much potential but we are going down the drain.
I'm not a patriot, I think my country is okay but I'm not particularly proud to be German or think it's an amazing country compared to others.
I mostly dislike the mentality here, a lot of people are very bitter and like to complain a lot, instead of being thankful for what they have or at least try to change something about a situation they don't like. people are also quite reserved and like to keep to themselves, not caring so much about others and their problems. there's also a lot of bureaucracy here, making things that should be simple complicated as hell.
