Don't forget about Nelly Furtado, I think this may as well be her year, just look at how well "Promiscuous" is doing. One thing is for sure, she deserves the success tons more than both Beyonce and Christina.

Actually, Nelly Furtado already has a good resume and fanbase. Her debut album sold over 7 Million copies with 2 hit singles. "Promiscuous" is blowing up here in the states and "Maneater" is also getting loads of attention overseas.
And there was more people trying to bring Rihanna down as oppose to hyping her up. But besides that, her album is doing pretty well internationally and in the U.S.
No one is gonna buy christina's fake 20s crap outside the U.S ,and eveyone who bought DIL will not take the risk again and buy a beyonce album , people will just stick to the radio/or buy her singles . It's probably gonna be Nelly furtado/Janet Jackson or even Fergie's year.
