I don't get it, like black and asian people are able to age so gracefully yet white people just go all wrinkly in their FOURTIES!!!. I really want to know why, if it's the difference in melanin, location, genetics? I'm quite perplexed
I'm half Chinese and I can honestly say that most Asians look younger than they actually are. I have never met or known an Asian who looks older than he or she is.
The same with black people. Two black sisters I know, who run a clothing adjustments business in our local area are in their early-to-mid 40's and I swear that one of them looks like she's in her mid Twenties.
I suppose it's also down to diet, exercise, good genes and how well you take care of your health. Things like smoking, drinking and drugs will have a huge effect on your appearance.
We're not as sunproof as other races because of the little amount of melanin. We have less of it, as the majority of Europe (where this race was developed) barely has summer.
Some idiots want to desperately make themselves black, though, which of course speeds up the process
SPF 50 is my God
They lack melanin which is supposed to fight against sun damage. Nature is well done, since their root is from an environment where there is not that much sunlight (before the climatic change), the very first of their kind didn't develop the gene for melanin. Whereas the first men who lived in Africa became darker because of too much sunlight and developed the gene of melanin that they passed to the generations after them.
