I think that gaga will be remembered for being the first superstar of the digital age and arguably the 2000s, mainly because of her huge debut era (TF + TFM) that overshadowed every other pop star at the time and for her huge follow up album that became the 2nd best selling album of 2011 after adele's 21. Also because of her huge sales with her 2.5 albums, the fact that she's such a huge touring force so early into her career and b/c of her persona.

In Italy no doubt. He is the most popular artist of the millennium so far and is already deeply respected by all of Italy's legendary artists. His contribution to the advancement of gay rights will no doubt be remembered as well.
The fact that he's the first openly gay and successful pop star should be remembered on a worldwide level really, but I think history will assign those roles to the past-their-peak guys like Ricky Martin, Elton John, George Michael, etc.
No one can say for sure but i think so.
For her performing, definitely.
Her impact in the music industry.
Plus the Kellys & Adeles will carry on her legacy.
Maybe: A bad American president years from now will spark new love for Pink
Rihanna: Yes of course... she will probably still be releasing yearly albums Rita Ora: Probably not JoJo: Probably not Selena Gomez: Possibly but not for her music Kelly Clarkson: Possibly Ke$ha: Probably not
I think yes. She has established herself as a touring force. Also she keeps her ties to country industry which is well known for providing their stars with great longevity. Plus winning a Grammy AOTY is pretty memorable feat.
Ability to write amazing music does not hurt. So you are less dependent on labels and stuff and less likely to disappear .
