Sean Hannity Dragged For The Filth He Is
Quote:
Sean Hannity got an earful from Democratic congressman Keith Ellison on his Tuesday show. Ellison exploded at the Fox News host, calling him "the worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen."
What made Ellison so angry was a short series of clips of President Obama that Hannity ran just before bringing him on. The clips, which showed Obama talking about the looming budget sequester, were scored to the famously apocalyptic "Carmina Burana." Hannity said Obama was guilty of fearmongering when he talked about the potential effects of the cuts the sequester would impose.
After playing the clips, Hannity welcomed Ellison, who was in no mood to be chummy:
Quote:
HANNITY: I guess that's what we can describe as staying on message, something the Democratic Party I would argue is very good at.
ELLISON: You're pretty good at it too.
HANNITY: Thank you.
ELLISON: Quite frankly you are the worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen.
HANNITY: I can't hear you.
ELLISON: You heard me.
HANNITY: No, say it again. I didn't hear you.
ELLISON: What you just displayed was not journalism, It was yellow journalism. It wasn't anything close to trying to tell the American people what's really going on, and I mean, it's just shocking.
|
Things did not get friendlier from there. Ellison also called Hannity a "shill for the Republican party," an "immoral" man, and said he was violating "every journalistic ethic" in the book. Eventually, Hannity cut the interview short, saying it was a "waste of time" to continue.

Let's put all political views aside:
I, as an American, don't appreciate that someone like Ellison is representing me in Congress. What he displayed on Hannity was rude, obnoxious, and downright wrong. If you have the opportunity to speak on a talk show, you should be respectable to those who invited you. Not speak for six minutes straight without letting the interviewer get a question in.
Now...for my personal thoughts:
Ellison needs to get some better comebacks rather than repeating what Sean said.
Ellison needs to stop muttering and mumbling. He knows he's wrong, he was stalling for time to think of something.
It is Obama's fault for adding the debt, anyone saying otherwise needs to reevaluate their viewpoints. Including this 'congressman'.
He disgusts me.

Do you even know why Fox invites democrats on their shows? To mock them. They showed a blatantly wrong series of clips before bringing him on to mock him, Obama, and the Democratic Party. You don't get respect unless you give it.
As for the debt, Obama didnt "add anything". The debt would've I creases with or without Obama because of what happened before he took office. And if you want to get technical, Obama had decreased the deficit.

  :ahh
Wait, hold up, Obama decreased the defecit? What about unemployment? And id also LOVE to know why you think Obama did nothing to add debt. He is the president. A president should try to make some changes, help pass some bills, that bring his debt down! Or a president could do as Obama does and play golf with Tiger Woods. I guess that works too.
One last point...have you ever thought about the reason Fox mocks democrats? Maybe, let's say...it's because they're SO easy to mock! a perfect example is our friend Ellison here! I quote: 'uh, uh, well, uh, well.'
