Countries missing and certifications were updated from as old as 2009,2010 the latest being 2011, so my guess is that is has sold way more, but there is only proof of that.

US : 1,510,000 ( 1x plat)
Brazil : 160,000 ( 3x platinum)
Japan : 577,000 ( 2x platinum)
Australia : 210,000 ( 3x plat)
Europe : 3,000,000 ( 3x platinum)
Indonesia : 85,000 ( 5x platinum)
Total : 5.5 (without counting Canada,Mexico,etc)
This brings the set to a total of 17.5 millions, with updates and several countries missing for both albums. Finally the albums were sold seperately in several markets (in the UK,however, they were sold seperately, thus sales counted for 'The Fame'), so don't give me the "they were sold as one excuse'

The numbers for which I haven't provided a source, are due to the fact that the source was so old that the site wouldn't open and it gave me the 'Not Found' error. Anyway, not significant numbers so they don't affect the final number so much, but wanted to clarify anyway. People will come for this, I am sure. I wonder where are they people who were trying to clock me last time.

I'm confused as to why this was reported. Almost every single number is backed up by a reliable and legitimate source. Someone is pressed, too bad.
The Fame (Monster) eras is one of the biggest eras in music, it launched the biggest cultural phenomenon of our age.
