They're really milking the franchise for all it's worth, and people are getting fed up. It's been almost seven years since Kingdom Hearts II came out, and all they keep giving us are these spin-off games that make the storyline ten times more confusing than it already is. Sure, people will continue buying the games, but I think as a whole people are getting fed up and just want Kingdom Hearts III.
