Janet-Jackson.com has been updated in anticipation of her new album! The new website launch page will only be up for a short time while preparations are made for the new full site. There is a special surprise and there is even a countdown clock!

As many of you are fans of Britney, Christina, Nick, etc....the websites for Janet are buzzing about what this surprise could be. A large number of fans think it is the debut of her new single. Looking at the clock, in 10 days, it will be MAY!

I'm looking forward to seeing what Janet has in store for her fans. Hopefully it is indeed the new single and maybe it'll hit with a much larger impact.

Then again, if people are holding on to the Superbowl incident still then she may have somewhate of an uphill battle.

I have seen some of the posts about the Superbowl incident and the flop of Damita Jo. I must say that Janet made a mistake (whether intentional or accidental) and paid much for it. The backlash was tremendous and somewhat surprising.

On the other hand, I believe that many stars who make a mistake but have a career of success and achievements come back in a major way. Mariah has proven this last year and I believe this is Janet's year. It is very easy to bash on someone who is down, but when they rise, everybody begins to take notice.

I think this album will be landmark and she has taken her time. Watch out!

So who are the big producers? Aside from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis I mean . . .

Damita Jo had the best Janet Jackson track ever produced though, so it's not completely a flop. Which song "All Nite" that song is so upbeat. I'm looking forward to hearing new material from her, it's been a while.

For this album, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are the main producers. Jermaine Durpi is involved as well as the Avila Bros. I believe that she has kept things under wrap so well, no one knows too many details (which is a good thing today). Maybe in four days, we will get more information.

The countdown on Janet's website is going based on Eastern Standard Time. The surprise is today at 12 noon! Many fans are just waiting for it! The anticipation is crazy! I am looking forward to seeing it..in a half an hour!
