So I was researching the Westboro Baptist Church for sociology (we're looking at cults and religions) and I ended up on their website where I found a bunch of pop music parodies including Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Taylor Swift

The Westboro Baptist church do this as a method of spreading their message through popular mediums, doubled with attention-getting acts like this. Therefore, the propagation of this material is helping them to achieve their goal, whatever it may be.

I'm sure, by all means, that you don't advocate this opinion so ignore it and the message and get the moderators to remove this thread.

The worst part about those parodies is that they're actually pretty well sung. There's obviously some talent behind them, but tragically, they're using their talents to spread hate and bigotry.
