JT donates $3m paycheck for a private concert to charity
NEW YORK POST Justin Timberlake banks $3 million to bring sexy back to the stage
Justin Timberlake was paid a whopping $3 million to perform at the star-studded DirectTV Super Bowl party, but he gave the entire sum to Shriners Hospital for Children. Timberlake performed a private, invitation-only hour-long concert — his first live show in years — backed by a 10-piece band with guest appearances by Timbaland and Jay-Z. Timberlake, who has just released his first single in six years, “Suit and Tie,” has preferred to concentrate on his acting career with movies such as “Friends With Benefits” and the Oscar-nominated “The Social Network.” The standing-room crowd included Paul McCartney, Sofia Vergara, John Legend, and New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft. Timberlake ended the evening with his hit “SexyBack.”
