I think you are right about the US TOSOD album. The flippable DAVID logo was used on the Sony Malaysia(?) release The Other Side of Down - Asian Tour Edition

Sony in Asia continued to work with David after David split with Sony/Jive US. Besides releasing TOSOD - Asian Tour Edition, Sony in Asia also did the Asian release of David's 2012 US album BEGIN (in the US, Highway Records, part of Deseret Entertainment released it). A Sony exec and TV5 Philippines also jointly came up the idea of Archuleta starring in the 2012 TV5 miniseries Nandito Ako.
Here's what I can can figure out about when the flippable DAVID logo was used...
July 4, 2011 - peek at David's new post-Sony official site has the DAVID logo (first time we see logo?)
July 5, 2011 - TOSOD - Asian Tour Edition cover art revealed w/ DAVID logo
Dec 1, 2011 - My Kind of Christmas tour used DAVID logo on stage backdrop and animation
Mar 26, 2012 - Forevermore album released using DAVID logo on cover and on the CD
So I guess David must own the logo? His official site still uses it. His BEGIN album did not use it. His updated "No Matter How Far" themed Facebook page doesn't use it, nor the similarly themed page at new.myspace.
