Does anyone else find it incredibly humbling to look at pictures of space?

I find it puts everything into perspective, so, I have created this thread, where you can post amazing pictures of the universe/space.

I get so frustrated when I think about stuff like this. It makes me mad that we'll never know why, what, where etc etc about everything. What's outside of the universe? What was there before? How did it all really happen? When you think about it, we're extremely irrelevant.

Only 4% of the universe have been discovered so far by scientists. 96% of it are dark matter and dark energy which are still unknown to man.

Do you ever think what is the universe? I mean it can't be endless cause it's so huge, but everything has to end somewhere. But what if this is all something to be perceived differently by each human being? Is this a test from God, or is out life just all a movie and not everything has to make sense? They say the universe started with a big bang, but what came BEFORE the big bang? i mean the world couldn't of been EMPTY, cause if it was what would cause this giant explosion? And what is "life"? It exists it the universe, but what is it?These are all things too complicated for out brain to comprehend. Whats so great about being a "human" , and why do we have emotions and feelings. I mean it's just the universe, why can't we just be emotionaless rocks and pretend everything is empty, some could say the universe doesn't even exist. BUT HEY, thats just me

I am a mini-universe myself, though. With black hole and stuffs.

Aliens discovered us long before we will do the same to them.

I agree, the enormity of the universe is so unsettling, realising how insignificant we are in the universe.

I don't think it is worth getting annoyed about though - just accept that we are only animals, and we don't have the capacity to understand 'why', and 'how', and just enjoy life.
