Don't get me wrong. I'm all for taking a break, creating a quality album and re-charging your batteries. But Gaga has been teasing about ARTPOP since last summer, making us all assume we were going to get the album in late 2012. Artists usually don't start teasing about their new album until 1-3 months before their release date.

I feel like all this hype is going to backfire like it did with BTW. What do you guys think? Are you sick of the teasing? Any objections?

It really annoys me, why can't she just release something already?

The problem is if it's not very good quality. The GP will hate her for telling us a year ahead of time and so much teasing and than for the quality to be crap.

I've gotten used to it.

I don't understand why she always extends her tours so much when she plans on releasing something in that timeframe Tours take a lot of time and she could plan an album release a lot better if she wasn't on one.

But in honesty, there's an endless struggle from Bey/Gaga right now, I feel your pain sisters.
I've enjoyed Cake so far as well as the hype around Ratchet/Azealia and the follow up to Telephone (if it isn't ratchet).

Imagine Gaga releases something on Feb 3.

YES. It's really annoying. The OP is completely on-point. I'm all for her living life & taking whatever time she needs to create a great record, however she's the one who has been teasing, leading us fans to what the new record ASAP. And you can't blame the fans for making assumptions and ending up being disappointed because she knows what she's doing; she's not dumb. She knows that her tweets & info reveals raise hype - but, she seems to have not learned from BtW that there's a high chance this will backfire on her.

My expectations are really high. I'm sure I'll be ecstatic when the era actually gets rolling, but for now, I'm a bit de-hyped. Her whole hype maneuver has gotten irritating.

What's annoying is the amount of crying that people are doing about having to wait. REAL fans don't mind waiting for new music when they know their favorite artists is in their creative process.

So what if she hypes her ****? That means she's excited about it which is a good thing. Sitting on music is the hardest thing ever. Especially when you want it to sound a certain way for you and your fans.

She's given us Stache and Cake and it's still not enough to hold you people over. At least she's given us SOMETHING.

She'd be a fool releasing anything right now while on tour. She's not the type to not promote her new music and it would be down right impossible to do on a tour right now.

Gaga hypes her album 1 year (or more) in advance... which is annoying.
Beyoncé hasn't said a word about her new single which she's about to perform in 7 days... which is frustrating.

Can't they both find a balance please? The world is ready for you both ladies!!!
