I agree, when you sign a contract with the expectation that you will be the only female then of course you will be pissed if they signed someone else too. The deception is probably worse than the actual act because if she truly had an issue with it she could have sued for misrepresentation, got her money and walked but she did continue on with the show. It seems Nicki got wind that Mariah was pissed, took it personal when it probably wasn't and went in all guns blazing when Mariah was effectively over the whole thing. I mean show one they were engaging in very friendly banter but it seemed to escalate. Nicki needs to quit with the paranoia.

The problem with your logic is Nicki heard about Mariah being upset but didnt believe it. She thought her and Mariah were friends from their earlier collaboration. Nicki did not know Mariah was genuinely upset about sharing the panel UNTIL Nicki heard Mariah aking comments about her to her face.

Again, no Mariah was signed way before the rumors for Nicki started, it wasn't until the last couple weeks before Idol started filming that the rumors began and Nicki was a last minuet addition to the judging panel.
