Star Magazine has a new report of Anne Hathaway practicing for her acceptance speech during Oscars night, even after the negative reactions to her overwhelmingly saccharine speech at the Golden Globes.
Star’s source adds that Anne, “so sure she will win that she is planning another visceral monologue for the Oscars. She is working with a team of writers to develop a worthy speech as her last. She has also recently turned her NYC pad into her rehearsal stage.” They add that she is, “obsessing over every other aspect of the big night, turning her NYC pad into an Oscar rehearsal center. Anne’s dedicated three rooms for fittings, makeup tests and to practice her red carpet interviews.”
Not only that, but Anne’s friend also supposedly weighed in, saying, “If she doesn’t win for Best Supporting Actress, it’ll take all her acting skills to hide her disappointment.”
Anne’s rep has shot down this report, adding that she hasn’t been back to New York and will probably not be going there before the Oscars. However, even if the report is not true, it’s very true that it will take all of Anne’s acting skill to pretend to be happy if someone else wins Best Supporting Actress. In an Oscar race that is very tight and could go either way in many categories, Anne is the surest best for an Oscar.
