I thougth the same as you. I remember thinking: "please Gaga, perform the studio version of MTN" at the concert in Argentina. But she did the acapella; trust me, something really magic happens in that performance. I don't know what it is, i can't even explain what i felt watching her perform that song there. The youtube videos are nothing. If you see that performance live, you will see what i'm talking about,
Its been like 2 months since i went to her concert and I still can't belive what i saw when she performed Marry the Night. It has no words. I will remember that performance for the rest of my life
