Amelia Lily loved beating Tulisa on the UK Singles Chart

Former X Factor contestant Amelia Lily proved naysayers wrong when her debut single, 'You Bring Me Joy', reached the top 10 on the UK charts last year, so you can't blame the singer for admitting that she “loved” being more successful than Tulisa Contostavlos, whose debut album flopped.
The 18-year-old, who was mentored by Kelly Rowland in the competition, released 'You Bring Me Joy' in September and it narrowly missed out on the top spot peaking at number two, a big contrast to Tulisa's solo efforts with her latest single 'Sight Of You' entering the charts at 18 while her debut album The Female Boss bombed, barely making it into the top 40 at number 35.
Amelia Lily just missed out on the number spot in September (WENN)
Rather than play the gracious loser, Amelia admits that she found it satisfying charting higher than Tulisa, who has had more than enough exposure through her appearance on X Factor for several months.
Amelia simply told the Daily Star: “I loved beating Tulisa.”
At least you're honest Amelia!
Amelia's next single 'Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)' will be released this Sunday, while her debut album is expected for release later this year.
What Tulisa did to Misha that series was just ......
&& i'm glad the UK public have not bought her terrible music and she's finally washed up. byegirl.
I swear that was just some anger because of Tulisa saying bitchy things about Kelly. Kelly is like a mother to her, they are still super close. Tell her Amelia!
Definitely. I love Amelia Lily and the acoustic version she did of it yesterday on BBBOTS was really good.
I'm sure if Amelia was given even better promo she would do so good.
I'm glad you posted the performance on my wall because I had no idea what BBBOTS was

And...?? If Shut Up charts within the top 10 and have her album chart within the top 30 then she will of already technically had a more successful solo career than Tulisa. Seems like she's capable of it too with the fan base she has going for her.
Also, Tulisa should be doing a lot better than Amelia because Tulisa came from N Dubz who were pretty huge in the UK so she already had that stable fan base. Poor single choices made Tulisa a flop.
We ALL know Amelia's album is going to do much better then Tulisa's. Even if she makes top 20 she's done better then Tulisa's solo career.
It's the fact Tulisa has this massive X Factor promo and has failed to do much, whilst Amelia isn't close to getting the same type of exposure but isn't doing bad for herself.
I'm not sure I quite follow where you are going with this... maybe you meant to say Tulisa's 2nd single:
Live It Up
#11 UK #14 Scotland #41 Ireland
Oops no can't be that one either... I'm lost. Maybe you meant her debut single... cause that did peak higher than YBMJ.. but only by one spot an only on the UK charts:
Young
#1 UK #5 Ireland #52 Slovakia #53 Belgium
Young may of peaked one place higher than YBMJ in the UK but YBMJ charted in more places than Young
Too bad Young already slayed Amelia's entire life. Bitch needs to check facts before she tries to drag.
Check the facts above you... with the exception of Young charting one place higher in the UK, Amelia's one song has out peaked every other peak that each of Tulisa's 3 singles got... you tell me which one is more of an accomplishment

I meant that they can't be compared I see how you got that wrong but that's not at all what I meant, nice try though. I literally could not care less about the charting positions, it's just not fair to compare Amelia's debut single and Tulisa's third.

Sis...I love Kelendria, but wasn't she the one that eliminated poor Amelia in the first episode?
