Since steaming has becoming such an integral part of the Hot 100 formula, I would like a thread to keep with both US & other countries streaming charts &/or Spotify or whatever they has. I'm not as familiar with streaming charts so I feel this thread could be interesting. There are definitely trends in streaming worth following such as that alternative & rap music gets more streams than singles than dance pop songs.
Anyone know how to keep track of daily streaming charts?
i wonder if everything ends up going digital, how will the certifications be for albums ?
They won't.
Honestly....10 years from now I expect touring to the the only significant source if income in the music business. They make SOME from streaming but not nearly enough to offset the collapse of album sales (not sure whether digital single sales will decline or not).

If I'm correct in remembering that streaming companies actually lose more profits each year, then streaming won't last in its current form. For it to overtake other sources it must be heavily restructured.
