It doesn't, though -- it doesn't work as well if you're trying to find people who quoted you or mentioned your name.

I normally return to threads I have posted in and check if I have replies

I do. It's more for big threads like Bases and SYG where you can forget what page you are on.

Plus when I'm on (in Aus) it is usually pretty quiet, so I like to have a list there to check the next day when EU and US people are on.

I use search to find threads for lesser artists that people don't post in all the time, making them harder to find.
