Movies Out This Weekend

I just felt like making a thread so we can talk about them after we see them. I'm going to go see Madea's Family Reunion now at 1:25 P.M. CST.

And tomorrow I'm seeing Doogal at 1:00 P.M. CST.

There's also a Rolling Stones concert at out movie theater on Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. CST. :-\ I'm not seeing that, but, would you stand and clap at that show, even though they can't hear you? Hmmm.

Runing Scared is Rated R so I can't see it but the film looks like crap. Tell me if you like it.

You can post the box office if you want in here, too, when it gets published somewhere.

Doogal has some great people doing voices(Kevin Smith, Jon Stewart), but the movie doesn't look all that great. i'll prob wait till it comes out on DVD to rent it.

The movie was okay. Blair Underwood was in it again and she was in Something New and I was like, why is she doing another 'black' movie. NO, I'm not a racist. But these type of movies are getting old with the same people. I love the type of comedy it has and the morals of their culture that are in them, but they're corny and are used to entertain like 10 year olds. :|
Plus, Diary Of A Mad Black Woman ended with Boris Kodjoe finding a wife, didn't it, or was it some other character? Seriously, it reminded me of Diary Of A Mad Black Woman. All the same people were in it so really, why did they make this movie?

Hahahahaha. You're going to WILLINGLY see a movie that looks like complete **** even with the talent involved(Doogal) and you think Running Scared looks like crap. I love seeing your opinions, Will.

Not going to see any of these at a movie theater, obviously, but i'll probably check out Running Scared when it comes out on DVD.

Doogal actually looks pretty good to me Ryan. I may see it tomorrow or Monday. I don't have school Monday. Maybe to you it looks like sh!t but Doogal looks greatly animated to me and I enjoy the art of animation and the work people put into it.

Just about all animation can look good. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are perfect examples of animated movies that actually have a good story and widespread appeal for kids and adults. I don't see Doogal being that kind of movie.

I might catch a movie tommorow. I was supposed to today, but I wound up staying late at school.

But I have been renting lately!:

Domino - Good, I liked it, rather unique.

The Weather Man - Dull, but some dark twisted humor.

Four Brothers - Worth just renting, not that great, but I was enetertained

Wallace and Gromit - Just a usual animated film, but at least renting-worthy

Waiting... - I liked this one, especially from working in a terribly operated restraunt before, a lot of brave humor.

Two for the money - Good, I like this one. Pacio and Mc-what's-his-nam did really well done acting.

Supercross - Badly made movie, but I at least got my Homework done while watching it.

In her Shoes - I was kind of revolting not to see this one, but a friend made me sit down and watch it with her. To my suprise, not too shabby. There's even a reference to TRL and MTV.

The Man - Don't even mess with this one. Very bad

Barely Legal - Funny, liked it.

Lord of War - Rather Good.

Underclassman - OK, entertaining for me...

Ultimate Avengers - Liked it. Just a superhero cartoon.

Next Week I want to catch:
Walk the Line, Proof, Pamela Anderson's Roast, Hustle n Flow, and Dune.

Oh come on! This was easily my favorite movie of last year along with Crash. It's so funny and it's a chick flick but it's like Mean Girls and it's not bad at all... don't underestimate Cameron's acting abilities. She's great!

usual animated film? more like one of the greatest animated films ever. it appeals to adults just as much if not moreso then as it appeals to kids.It also made me laugh harder then all comedies last year(except the genius that is the 40 Year Old Virgin.)

Dude, instead of watching so many ****** movies every week, you should just donate money to some charity. I'm sure they would be more greatful than Hollywood....Not that I believe you actually watch all these movies, but OH WELL.
