What would you rather have? A game with amazing graphics, but ****** gameplay, or a game with amazing gameplay, and low-quality graphics? Discuss.

Nowadays, I know both graphics and gameplay aren't mutually exclusive, but if you had the choice, which one would you prefer?

Bye, Final Fantasy XII is the quintessential JRPG. All JRPGs from that game onward should have evolved into what it tried to achieve, and the JRPG that is regarded as the finest of the previous generation, Xenoblade, took notes from Final Fantasy XII and expanded on gameplay mechanics while retaining the immersive setting.

Exceptional gameplay and graphics are not mutually exclusive, but I'd rather go with gameplay if given the choice.

Super Mario 64 is a prime example of the latter while WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 is a prime example of the former. I mostly play games with both now.

I'm the only one that would prefer graphics over gameplay.

I'd rather be able to see what I'm doing, tbh. But it's more like something that has to even out.

That Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) game released for the Xbox 360/PS3 is an example of a game with great graphics, but bad gameplay. Even though I use it (and I'm a sonic fan), I still can admit it's bad and should've been executed better. Are there any other examples?
