I think it's so pathetic how you time and time again choose to bring this up. She doesn't have the best voice ever, but aside from this one time, she at least has the guts to sing live. Can't say the same thing about Britney now can we? Besides, would this have happened to her, you'd be defending her ass.

 classic for an ashlee fan... but if ashlee didn't wanted be an hilary duff or avril lavgne, why does she lips? there's a huge performance ? there a lot of dancing? there's something beside of singing that she need to do? NO!!!!!!!! thats why everybody hates her and her career is just OVER

So then Britney's career might as well be over too right? I mean, damn everyone hates her. She's been called trailer trash, talentless, useless, among other things. Besides, even with all this drama, Ashlee still managed to have a Platinum album (since you know, all you care about is sales) and two top 30 singles?

This lip syncing episode is also pretty funny
Ps I think it's hilarious how she screwed up lip syncing and then managed to screw up even worse by trying to sing. I mean that second clip is just HORRENDOUS. It just shows shes not meant for the music industry.
Who cares if shes gone platinum and had 2 top 30 singles since those screw ups? All that proves is that some stupid people are still supporting a ****** artist.

can't compare... 8 million albums sold worldwide from her las studio album [ 6 million from her last GH album] with one that has sold a little more than 1 million albums worldwide, hits on the billboard hot 100?.. HAHA just see where is kelis now... flopped and flooded same for ashlee , yeah britney could be named telntless , useless and among other thing, but , at the day that she decide to return she will manage big numbers of sales, good reviews and some pop history moments ... britney is known as the pop princess became a woman that has reached so many sucessful awards in just few awards, as someone that has perform with madonna and has been on the top spot since her debut, someone that can manage sucess in awards and sales, in popularity and as an icon, ashlee is just going to be remembered as a telentless ***** that became famous only for her dumbshit sister which is also known as a cheap copy of britney spears

Hate Ashlee to death but I have to agree with Gerry, we've already established that Ashlee is talentless and is only in the industry because of her sister, so what does this prove besides that the person who started the thread has a few screws loose? ("never most forget"? Are you flippin' serious?). And as far and Britney and Ashlee are concerned on the Hot 100, Ashlee's last 2 singles have done better than half the stuff Britney has released, she's not exactly a huge hitter on the Hot 100. It's really an unfortunate site that either of them are on there, though. And sales? Yeah, I really doubt that Britney's album sales would be anywhere close to high if she wasn't such a tabloid *****. Negative or positive press, she's always doing something pathetic to get attention on her (Kissing Madonna at the VMA's, anyone?) and OH MY, HER ALBUM SELLS. But whatever, you'll come back with all this "Britney is sales queen and world icon" crap that I won't bother to read.
Conclusion - They both suck and so does this M.a.r.C guy.

Britney is only talented when it comes to dancing. And she doesn't lip synch all the time, only once in a while. Maybe there's a reason behind artists that lip synch. Sometimes it's better to hear them lip synch then actually hear their voice for real. Like Ashlee Simpson's La La on SuperBowl. I respect artists who on occasions lip synch if they have a reason. Maybe they can't sing and dance at the same time. Hmmm....if there not dancing, then yes the least they can do is sing live. If you don't believe me, listen to "DLMBTLTK" by Britney Live at Las Vegas, and she sounds like a man literally. I like Ashlee's music, but I wouldn't go see her live.
