Another year, another shockingly high number of chalk outlines around dead TV shows lining the streets of Canceltown. Seriously, every year when we sit down to compile this video, we're surprised not only by how many series have ended, but by how quickly we've forgotten some of them. But no TV series can last forever, and 2012 saw the end of some biggies. It also saw the end of some, er, barely-made-a-dent-ies. And so it's only fitting that we pay our respects to the shows we've loved and lost (plus a few we were happy to see go). Here's our video tribute to the shows we said goodbye to this year.
Fare thee well, old friends. You will be missed. Some of you more than others.
Editor's Note: A few of the shows in this year's video *technically* ended in 2011, but weren't confirmed canceled until later. Likewise, we made a few judgment calls on shows we *know* are ending but haven't quite finished their runs. So please don't yell at us in the comments, okay? Please?
A few might be missing (The Closer, Pan Am, Flashpoint) but I kinda zoned out mid way so they might be there haha. What will you be missing in 2013 atrl?
I had the first few episodes downloaded and planned on watching, then I heard it got cancelled. I'm still debating on wether or not I should spare myself the heartbreak, I heard its so good
DH were good for first six seasons, but season 7 was a mess,8 was better, but kinda sad season 7 exsist.
House also ended. It always was overrated, but last season was just bad,
Gossip Flop was good for first season but then went downhill.2 last episodes of final season were so bad that i'll shoot myself in the head if i was a fan of this show.
Breakout Kings
Wizards Of Waverly Place
The Finder
Ringer
The Secret Circle
Chuck
All such great shows... they will be missed Harrys Law had an amazing first season but the second season was pure horse **** and deserved to go... CSI:Miami was good when it started out but again it's last couple of seasons were **** so it needed to go.
I also see a lot of trash got made into TV shows... people finally saw the light and pulled the plug on them
