Technical incidents, critical fans: the end of Madonna world tour has faltered this weekend in South America. The final concert on Saturday night, in a given stage of the Province of Cordoba (central Argentina), was suspended for forty-five minutes because of a short circuit in an electrical generator. Exasperated, Chilean fans complaint and decide to sue the singer.
The preceding Wednesday it's her performance in Santiago which was considered disastrous by fans in Chile. 650 viewers have complained for "unfulfilled commitments" with consumer services. The concert that began more than two hours late and had been shortened to forty minutes. The kind of shift that Madonna is customary. Last November in Miami, she began a concert with 3:30 delay.
The consumer agency, which defends the rights of Chilean consumers, is talking with the concert organizer to determine why the concert started more than two hours late and was 40 minutes shorter than expected, a statement said.
The agency is also looking into whether the concert breached the terms of the tickets, at which point it could organize a lawsuit or broker a deal to compensate those who feel affected.
If you're sick and unable to perform a full show, cancel. Don't go on stage, half ass a show and collect your money. I wouldn't even take that kind of **** from Gaga. It's about principle and these people have a right to be upset considering the amount of money they had to pay to see her.
Madonna's always late, they should have known betta.
She's not being sued for being late as much as she's being sued for cutting an approximately 2 hour show to approximately 40 minutes while still charging full price for those tickets.

Your point is? Madonna tried going on stage to perform and she just couldn't take it no more.
I kind of understand why they are pressed. But artists are bound only to their own imagery and feelings. So many musicians change the set list spontaneously right on the stage, so many musicians cut the concerts short when they dont feel well or when they dont like the atmosphere (and simply walk away), so many musicians have huge delays for whatever reason etc. People who want to see exactly what is written on the card and dont want to wait for the concerts shouldnt go to lives, they should just buy a live DVD
They deserve better. There is NO reason for the delay or ending the show early.
