Well I live in Canada so it's your usual boring "traditional" Christmas. But I'm originally from Iran and most of them don't celebrate it however we do celebrate Winter Solstice.
It's a tradition from 1000s of years ago from when Persia was a Zoroasterian country and after Islam took over the holiday sort of lost importance but we still do it now.
I'm not sure how much UK Christmas differs? Tree, christmas pudding, turkey/goose/ham and all the trimmings (are brussell sprouts a 'thing' in the US?), yule logs, sometimes bucksfizz in the morning (champagne and orange juice) etc.
It's tradition in Scotland to have steak pie on New Years Eve (Hogmanay here) and go from neighbour to neighbours houses and have a drink.
Here in Greece we bake two type of cookies, melomakarona, which are cookies with walnutes dipped in syrup/honey, and kourabiedes, butter cookies covered in icing sugar. I love them.
