The IFPI report should be coming soon, but let's see if we can predict the top 10 best-selling singles WORLDWIDE.
Some notes:
"Call Me Maybe" has sold +10,000,000 copies worldwide, as confirmed by Billboard, about 1-2 months ago.
"Gangnam Style" has sold +3,000,000 in the US and +3,000,000 in South Korea to date.
I'm not sure about the full ten, but STIUTK and CMM will battle for the top spot and GS will take the third slot. I think that WFL may have a shot at being listed, but because of its September release it may have garnered too few sales during the tracking period to list in the top ten above songs like "Payphone", "We Are Young", and even things like WANEGBT (if it did well enough). I think WFL might be around #7 or so though.
1. Call Me Maybe / Somebody That I Used to Know
2. Somebody That I Used to Know / Call Me Maybe
3. Gangnam Style
4. We Are Young
5. We Found Love
6. Payphone
7. Starships
8. Sexy and I Know It
1. Gangnam Style
2. Somebody That I Used To Know
3. Call Me Maybe
4. Payphone
5. We Are Young
6. Moves Like Jagger
7. We Found Love
8. What Makes You Beautiful
9. Sexy And I Know It
10. Starships / Rolling In The Deep
The december sales of Moves Like Jagger, We Found Love, Sexy And I Know It, Rolling In The Deep weren't included last year so they probably could be there like Just The Way You Are last year.
Plus Rolling In The Deep had great sales in South Korea this year.
