Discussion: Was "Circus" the real Britney comeback to the music?

For the first time I'm listening to the flawless pop legend Britney Spears' discography and I have to say

This girl is a WONDERFUL ARTIST, but well..

I'm listening to "Circus" her 2008, she probably did "Blackout" and I have to clap for that album, Danja did the best for her on that record and the result is brillant.. But I feel "Circus" is the product of Spears' therapy after all the wrong things she had to live with.

She made this album and I hadn't pay attention to it but it's one of her best album in her career, it sold pretty amazing like it should

She realesed one of the best music videos I've ever seen..

And she WAS BACK as ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMERS IN HISTORY and she was back as the Queen she is..

You can clearly see that it was her real comeback, it wouldn't be fair consider Blackout as it because she wasn't even in her best place physically nor mentally

Musically, Blackout was her comeback.
Commercially, Circus.

Circus was definitely her comeback, as evident as on the Circus tour when she sold out the world over and everyone wanted to see her back in action.

Circus is really underrated. The only thing I dislike about Circus is that Britney didn't get to showcase her vocal ability.

The music = solid. Blackout = superior album.

Her hair and makeup for the Circus album packaging was flaw free. I know that much.

Before 2008, you were laughed at for liking Britney. Everyone made fun of her. Even before her breakdown. I remember those days...

I kinda wish she made her comeback with blackout though, and just wait until 2008 to release it when she was fully ready. She wasnt really ready to promote it when it came out in 2007.

Exactly. Blackout had the potential to be a monster era for her, commercially speaking, but everything else took its toll on the music and it became a distraction...to say the least.
