Well, the latest Kelly Clarkson hit went #1 on US Hot 100 and a huge hit all over the world. Stronger is nominated as Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for the 55th Grammy Awards. So I don't get why people don't like the song and are always complaining about it. It is not like a song talking about get drunk and have sex or about a red plastic cup, it's about being stronger.

I just think by then everyone has had enough self-empowerment songs to last them a life time and she cause came with another one when we had like dozens already

Its not a bad song at all though.

Because it's extremely generic and annoying.

People hated on Diamonds too saying Die Young would block it but we see how it turned out in the end

Some people on here hate everything Dr. Luke does for starters.

But I do find the song a bit boring tbh. Since U Been Gone and My Life Would Suck WIthout You are so much better.

I liked it at first but now it's so annoying and overplayed. Can't listen to it anymore.

It's just another self empowerment anthem. It's not unique. Anybody could have sang it

Well, I like this song better than SUBG, but I can see where you're coming from.

But it could be because Greg Kurstin produced it. The two major singles he's done lately, Stronger and Blow Me are definitely beneath most Dr Luke/Max Martin productions. It's like he's trying to imitate their sound and he does in a sense, but the melodies reveal the truth.

Its trash tbh. Generic lyrics, same recycled AC sound, I refused to listen after the first time.

Because some people on here find the song "basic" or "generic", but idk i like it, it has a great message, Kelly has an amazing voice and it was one of the most successful songs of 2012, so i'm unbothered

i'm not really a kelly clarkson fan to begin with. the whole pop-rock thing she has going on doesn't really appeal to me, plus i really hate these kinds of empowerment "YOU'RE NOT A LOSER YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU'RE SO AMAZING XD" kinds of songs regardless of who releases them

so a combination of all these factors into one song is why i personally don't like it
