6 Nicki Minaj songs have been cleared to be performed on American Idol. Seeing as how this is a Mariah Carey thread, I won't bother to post them.
I'm happy to see that they're allowing contestants the chance to sing these songs. They're all amazing. However, I don't know how anyone can give a great vocal while singing "Shake It Off" and "Obsessed".
Nonetheless, I'm SO looking forward to the contestants possibly choosing one of these songs.

This is the same list that was posted last year. This doesn't mean that all these songs have been performed yet, just that they've been cleared if people want to sing them
I know there's a portion of the show where contestants get to actually sing with the already established singers. For example... A contestant could sing "Jaded" by Aerosmith and Steven Tyler would come out and accompany them on the song.
I'd cry and die if someone chose a Mariah song that week and she got on stage to help them sing it.
