4Music Claims Taylor Has Copied Lana Del Rey In IKYWT Video

Taylor gets her heart broken in this grungy tale of love lost
Taylor Swift's new music video for I Knew You Were Trouble is a grungy tale of punk-ass boys, broken hearts and regret.
The video drags on for two minutes before the music actually starts, as Taylor delivers a melodramatic narration of her 'harrowing' journey of the heart.
With plenty of dirty, tattooed boys, some passionate kissing in muscle cars and a scandalous desert party, it seems Taylor is trying to rebrand herself as Lana Del Rey, but with awkward results. She's our all-American good girl, after all. She would never roll around in the desert in a dirty t-shirt with a hangover, would she?
Maybe that's the whole point. Her new track is an intriguing blend of commercial country-pop and grinding dub step, so it only makes sense she would try and get her hands a bit dirty in the video.
The question is, does it work? Are you buying her messy new look? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
I just watched the video and it really was uninspired. From the beginning till the end, I expected WFL to start blasting through the speakers. I don't see Lana as much as I see Rihanna.
The real "short film" MV was Paparazzi !!!! Rihanna just copied it, Lana just followed the trend created by Lady Gaga, like Taylor, nothing bad about that !
If someone should claim this "short movie" mv copyright, it should be Lady Gaga, not Rihanna nor Lana, end of.
