I think artistry is pretty much the art of crafting music. Not the "costumes" and other gizmos that the performers wear

Rihanna has the most control. She does write some of her music, contrary to popular belief on here, and she does get to work with whoever she wants to work with. With Ke$ha, it's just Dr. Luke all the way.

Not to mention Rihanna has very artistic songs like Love the Way You Lie (Part II) and Stay in her catalog.

she enlists songwriters in writing camps and she picks the songs that she wants. She doesn't write anything.

Kesha and Dr Luke are team, she has written for many other artists, and she chooses to work with Dr Luke because thats her choice.
