great CD. his voice does grate on me occasionally, but definatly a great CD and artist.

One of the worst artists to come out of Britain. I liked 'Your Beautiful' and 'High' but this 'man' sings utter garbage. His voice is so annoyin. The most annoyin thing is the way he is being hailed as 'talent', simply because he is another silly singer-songwriter. Trust me, a conversation with a 12 year old will produce better lyrics than the tripe that pass for lyrics in his album. He gets on every darn nerve I have ... grrrrrrrrrr!

Y should we trust u about a 12 year old producing better lyrics? James Blunt is one of the best singer/songwriters around. His music is unbelievably good and has attracted acclaim from all corners of the globe, including the millions that bought his album. It's really saying something when he manages to sell more copies of his album Back To Bedlam than the album that was meant to be 2005's biggest, X&Y.

It makes it all the better listening to his music knowing he wrote the majority of the songs while serving in the army, and having worked hard to gain a record deal instead of being a huge star thanks to manufactured talent.
