Since I've seen most of the movies this year, I'm gonna make my own thread on it and make it look cool!

57 The Island
Well this movie is creepy and smart, and Scarlett Johansen and Ewan McGregor are great actors and are very convincing. I like this movie and it's really weird. But there are many better movies in 2005, which is why this is #57.
56 Must Love Dogs
This movie is funny and witty. Diane Lane, John Cusack, and Dermot Mulroney are so great in this movie and have great chemistry. The only bad thing about this love story is the script and the repetitive words. "Oh my god!", "Look over there!", etc.
55 Dark Water
This movie is horrific in some way that I can't describe. The slow action gets on your nerves but keeps you wondering. The need to want to know the mystery of the apartment in New York City makes this movie good, but not as good as #s 54-1.
54 Pride and Prejudice
Well this movie is somewhat romantic and somewhat dramatic. Throughout the movie you'd like the main character (Keira Knightley) to be with the person she loves but you don't know if the person that loves her is whom she loves. Confusing but cute and funny. That's why it's #54.
53 Inside Deep Throat
A documentary on the **** industry. Hmmm? Sounds interesting? Yes, well it is! It contains fascinating facts for mature ADULTS and although I haven't seen it, I'm recommending it for the adults over 18 on ATRL hoping they will find some interest in it.
52 Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
A remake of the 70s incredible, spectacular hit, WILLY WONKA and the Chocolate Factory. This movie, once again was correctly named because it's actually about Charlie, and not about the ugly and weird-looking Johnny Depp (Willy Wonka) which may turn you away from the movie and which is why it is #53!
51 Four Brothers
Four brothers get together, to kill the people that killed their mother, a wonderful and respected person in the community. Although not directly brothers, their mother adopted them so they feel it is necessary to take action and execute her killer. This movie was acted fairly well and I thought it was an okay movie.
#'s 50-41 coming in 1 hour and 30 minutes! Leave some comments!

50 Hitch
Will Smith plays a sort of a matchmaker. He helps a man (Kevin James) stand up to his fears to be able to ask a woman he likes out. Little did he know that it isn't as easy for him to be in a relationship as it is to teach other people to be brave in relationship decisions and in tight, nerve-wracking situations.
49 Prime
This movie is about a woman (Uma Thurman) who falls for the son (Bryan Greenberg) of her shrink (Meryl Streep) but at the time, she didn't know it was her shrink's son. Throughout the movie she tells the boy's mom about her sex life with him and what he 'does' to her. This smart and witty movie is good and funny enough to make this list, which is why it is #49.
48 Bad News Bears
Of course, another remake, but it's actually pretty good. Billy Bob Thornton plays the strange coach in this crap-fest of a team. But somehow they may manage to pull out a win and get a trophy if the coach uses his sneaky methods to cheat his way into victory!
47 The Aristocrats
This movie is about one of the dirtiest jokes in history. It includes many comedian's views on it and other ways to retell a joke. Again, I haven't seen the movie, but it looks really funny and got spectacular reviews. So if you are an ADULT once again, when it comes out on video, go see it!
46 Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Who would have thought that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would look so good together in a movie? Well... at least not me. They play husband and wife, which they are in real life (?). But they grow apart from not talking to each other about life and so they end up being rivals to catch one person. But they can't do it together. So, it's kind of confusing with a really cheesy script, and that's why it's #46.
45 Shopgirl
A woman (Claire Danes) meets two men, (Steve Martin and Jason Schwartzmann) and they are great, but one of them (Steve Martin) is who she really loves. The two of them are great and she is in love with him. But when troubles arise between her relationship with him, they realizes that maybe it's a good idea to go with the younger man who may offer more for her. It's a topic less discussed but it may be your type. It wasn't my cup of tea, but it was okay, and that's why it's #45.
44 King Kong
A remake, AGAIN, of a very old movie. Most of the remakes for this have been bland and terrible, but this one will succeed because it is beautiful, it creates a very good feeling that it will be good at the beginning, and sucks you in. BUT IT IS TOO DAMN LONG, which is why it is #44.
43 Me And You And Everyone We Know
This movie is about a man who meets a woman that he really likes, but he is very scared to commit to a relationship. He has a seven year old son who is having a dangerous relationship with an unknown Internet stranger, and he has a fourteen year old son who is a boy who has sex with other girls in the neighborhood. This movie is tricky and wise and it's pretty good.
42 Valiant
A team of BIRD soldiers are put together during a war (Vietnam?) to help kill the enemy. Turns out it's a dangerous job for a bird who's always wanted to be a soldier. And maybe it wasn't a good idea. This movie relates to something that happened in true life, but it has a funny twist and was animated, which is why it's #42.
41 Monster-In-Law
I don't care what any of the critics say, this movie is awesome. It's about a Latina girl (JLo) who is going to marry an American boy, but his mom (Jane Fonda) gets in the way and tries to ruin their relationship. The movie was funny as hell and Jennifer is just hot, #41 is disgraceful but good enough for JLo.

I HATED Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That, to me, was by far the worst movie of the year. It was incredibly stupid, it looked incredibly dumb, the continuity was incredibly bad, it was just an incredibly horrible film! Oh, and don't even get me started on the horrible graphics, and the evenly horrible Oompa Loompas. Why the **** did they take away their signature song, and exchanged it for those extremely long peices that just left you thinking, 'Oh for the love of God, stop singing!'
I don't mean to lash out on your list like this Will. You have some EXTREMELY good movies listed. CATCF is just not one of them

I haven't seen many movies in 2005, unfortunately. Normally, I see about 70 movies a year. Anyways, these are my comments:
GLAD THEY ARE THERE:
Dark Water at 55 (similar to The Ring, but better than The Ring Two)
Four Brothers at 52 (it was good, but it dragged on for a while)
Hitch at 50 (not as good as I thought it would be; deserves bottom 100 of the year)
MAD THEY ARE THERE:
The Island at 57? What the F***ity F*** F*** F***? This is DEFINITELY Top 5 of the year! NO DOUBT!
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at 52? Not as good as the original, but funnier and more zany...just brilliant
King Kong at 44? Again, WTF? This is DEFINITELY Top 5 of the year also! Wow!
The rest of the movies you mentioned I haven't seen. 75% of them I didn't really want to see
Anyways, looking forward to the rest of the list!
Rent and Cry_Wolf better be there

40 First Descent
This movie is another Steven Spielberg documentary. He captures the beauty and awesomeness of snowboarding. Hannah Teter is an awesome woman snowboarder! I love how Steven gets up close with views that only a professional director can do. ^__^
39 The Chorus
This movie is in French, but has English subtitles. It contains beautiful music sung by boys in a home where their mothers send them, for some reason, which is obscure, meaning they never explain it. The acting and the wonderful ending is what makes this movie #39.
38 Imaginary Heroes
This movie is just, wow. It's about a family and all its problems. A dad who treats his family like he doesn't know them, a mom who starts smoking pot for some excitement, and the son who lives life so it's a a horror story and something bad is always going to happen. It's beautifully acted and it's good. It's #38.
37 Munich
Another great movie! This movie is about the 1972 Massacre of the eleven Israelis athletes killed in the 1972 Munich Olympics. But, it's actually the story of a secret Israeli squad who was sent out to kill the eleven Palestinians who were believed to have killed the Israelis. More and more conflict has risen in the past 34 years since then, but this is marvelous and is showing you just one of the reasons why we may still be fighting today.
36 Red Eye
If you haven't heard about this movie, I'll tell you about it now. It's about a girl on a plane who seems to be having a fun conversation with the guy sitting next to her, but who knew that he was getting ready to assassinate someone at a hotel where she is working. It starts out kind of funny, weirdly, like something is wrong. It's so good, and it's so intense, that's why it's #36.
35-26 coming tonight!

Honorable Mentions
They weren't good enough to make the list but, what the hell?, why not put them on here? They were actually pretty good but tough luck:
Melinda & Melinda (SO Funny would be #59 )
Hide & Seek (Too Scary and bad ending!)
A Lot Like Love (SO Cute would be #60 )
Howl’s Moving Castle (AWESOMELY Animated but boring would be #58)
The Perfect Man (Too Sneaky)
Herbie: Fully Loaded (Too Cheesy)
March Of The Penguins (Almost Boring)
Rize (Read Above)
War Of The Worlds (Overrated)
The Brothers Grimm (Terribly Acted and too casual)
The Exorcism Of Emily Rose (Too dumb and repetitive)
Flightplan (Too controversial)
Tim Burton's: The Corpse Bride (Overrated)
Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (Unnesecary movie)
Madison (Like every other sports story)
The rest are going to come tomorrow (35-11)

The Exorcism Of Emily Rose
Flightplan
Tim Burton's: The Corpse Bride
WTF? Those should DEFINITELY be Top 30! Damn!
Herbie: Fully Loaded was INDEED cheesy.
Also,
Howl's Moving Castle, March of the Penguins, War of the Worlds, Rize, and Melinda and Melinda got good reviews, so I thought you would like them. I actually wanted to see all of these, but never got a chance to. I REALLY wanted to see Howl, Penguins, WOTW, and Rize, but didn't go see them for some reason. Rize DIDN'T even go to my movie THEATERS! Yes, theaters! There's 5. None of them got it.

I saw all of them, and they did get good reviews, but this is in my opinion. I saw all five and they weren't as good as others.
