WARNING: This is a demo album recorded before she committed to X Factor. Her old label Camp West Records wants to capitalize on her victory on the show and released this collection of songs, which are mostly her R&B stuff. It's definitely worth a listen though and a great treat for her older fans.

I would LOVE to hear all the tracks she recorded with Darkchild and b.cox! She did them when she was signed to JIVE. I wish they would leak 'Breathe' !

Very true and sad at the same time. I have been a huge fan of Sammie since 2005 and I am glad she is finally doing it and if pop music is the way to get there then I am here for it. It however isn't good for me cause pop music is not made for me.

I'm sure there's still plenty of room on her debut album for those amazing R&B stuff she had going on back in the day, but it should be predominately consist of Pop material that shows all of her range as a vocalist. Then the only thing standing in her way is for the label to try their luck with her and go to international markets. I've got a feeling about her.

This album is solid, it is a balance of rnb/pop, it could easily be appreciated by both audiences.. I hope her next album sounds like this! These Walls is the standout track. I got that flow is a huge failure though, that is something that she should leave to someone like Britney or Kesha. That is not her thing, she should expose her voice.

Dereon, do you think there's a chance that My Name Is Samantha Jade will also be released after all the years? I mean, Jive doesn't exist anymore and is now with Sony, so it seems unlikely that the same label she's signed too, will release a shelved album to get some extra cash. Except some other unknown label also holds right to that stuff. We have like only the half of these songs, I want to hear them in HQ and in finished versions.
