Diana Vickers was huge in the UK with her debut era. Her debut album, Songs From the Tainted Cherry Tree, went #1. 'Once' her debut single also went #1 on the UK singles. The Boy Who Murdered Love flopped at #36 but she came back strong with her third single charting at #13.
Does Diana's second era have the potential to smash like her first era?!
nope. and to say she was "huge" in the UK for her debut era is a massive exaggeration. yeah her album and debut single went #1, but neither had much longevity and the two follow-up singles were both flops (one charted at #13 as you said but didn't last very long in the charts after that)
she's an example of the modest success which can be achieved if you don't win the x factor, but she's pretty much forgotten about here now. unless she comes back with something really amazing she's destined to flop.
I think she's left it too long, people have forgotten about her too much..
I mean, she was Olly Murs' support act on his tour, as I went to it and she's not the best live..
It depends what her next single will be like, but I don't think it'll do well which is a shame because when she was on X Factor/debut album stage people liked her.

She's still in the Tabloids and had features in Heat Magazine this year due to her clothing line. So I think she has a bigger fanbase than you think. She's also in a film that is being released next year. I think her star potential is massive!

IF she releases the album it will flop. She has left it far too long. I don’t recall Diana ever saying the album was out in March, I’m gonna need some receipts for that. Besides, when has she ever been reliable with what she says? Like, never. Ever.
I really think everyone needs to accept that there’s a massive chance she won’t have a second era.
