Most of the people that buy playstation wouldn't even like a game like that anyway, they just want to play gun shooting games and fifa and the occasional insanely-realistic-so-much-that-it's-a-bit-boring driving game.
Like Nintendo fans prefer gameplay, Sony fans generally prefer graphics. So obviously a type of game like SSB will fare better with the Nintendo audience.
