Erm, "Reunion" was bound to be a short-lived series, I guess. I mean, how many seasons would we get until they'd find out who killed who and everything else?
Cancelled is a harsh word for Reunion. They just have yet to order the back nine, maybe they will, maybe they won't....I hope they do . I'm really upset about Hot Properties because I caught like 2 episodes and that show is the funniest sitcom on TV next to Everybody Hates Chris.
is it canceled after the 13 or 20 shows? bc they really cant do a season 2. also why didnt fox just switch nights with it. its going on after the oc, thats a hard show to follow.
Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Fans of Fox TV's mystery series, "Reunion", will never find out who killed Samantha, it was reported Monday.
The series will play out its 13 original episodes, then fade away into into the abyss of freshmen series that didn't make it, it was announced last week.
"Reunion" creator Jon Harmon Feldman released a statement Monday saying the show's unique structure makes it impossible to solve the mystery by the end of January -- when "Reunion" is scheduled to leave the air, Zap2it.com reported.
Each episode covers a year from 1986 to 2006 and episode 13 would only be 1998 -- eight years before the murder happened.
"The show was intricately plotted over 22 episodes to tell the full story of our characters' lives (and deaths)", Feldman said in a statement. "Because the events of Samantha's murder are partially reliant on characters we haven't yet met -- and events we haven't yet seen -- there is no way to solve the mystery of her murder without being able to complete the full arc of our story through present-day."
Reunion: Fox has shut down production. There are rumblings the WB might want to pick it up. (Note: I found out the identity of Sam's killer. We can discuss in Monday's chat whether you want to know!)
