DJ has threatened to take legal action against the BBC in furious Twitter rant...
Calvin Harris has launched a furious tirade of tweets against BBC Newsbeat following a "libellous" interview, which he claims was edited to make him the "bad guy" in their report about pre-recorded DJ sets.
Doctoring questions, of course, is a very serious accusation - and the Scottish dance star has even threatened to take legal action against the BBC over them "changing my answer" and "questioning my integrity" to "suit their sh*t report".
The BBC interview with Calvin Harris was broadcast on Radio One earlier this evening and appeared to reveal that Harris was fully in favour of pre-recorded DJ sets.
Calvin Harris, upon hearing the interview for the first time, has descended into a Twitter rant with @BBCNewsbeat, claiming that the interviewer changed the question after the interview to make it seem as though he were happy for DJs to pre-record their sets.
"Fact is @BBCNewsbeat pre recorded my answers to a different set of questions. The guy wasn't even wearing a f**king mic"
Presumably a representative for BBC Newsbeat attempted to talk to Calvin Harris about the interview, as the dance star later tweeted:
"No i won't f**king calm down! When i've got shitloads of messages slating me for something i didn't say @BBCNewsbeat"
The tweets continued, accusing the interviewer of not wearing a mic and BBC Newsbeat of "stitching" him up over the questions. And, to round things off, Calvin Harris announced spectacularly that he would be taking legal action against the broadcaster:
"Looking into taking action on @BBCNewsbeat for that libellous broadcast"
Dramatic stuff. We'll keep you posted on what happens next as, up until now, BBC Newsbeat have failed to respond to any of Calvin Harris' tweets.
