The weekly member changes in the rebooted Pussycat Dolls is turning me into a real stan. The whole thing is such a trainwreck that PCD 2.0 is becoming the best hot mess of the year (okay, second best after Christina Aguilera).
In the latest shake-up for the ****ty pop collective, Girlicious ‘star’ Natalie Mejia has been sacked and replaced with struggling Canadian pop singer Emmalyn Estrada. The news was confirmed by little-known watch brand Holler, who just signed the Dolls as their latest “celebrity ambassadors”.
Estrada’s public profile isn’t quite as large as Mejia’s –who has made headlines for everything from being busted with cocaine to being one of Chris Brown’s sideline hoes for five seconds– but some of you may know who she is. The 20-year-old, who is of Filipino descent, has a few highly-viewed videos on Youtube and bagged a No. 59 hit on the Canadian Hot 100 three years ago. She’s also the younger sister of Canadi-pop flop Elise Estrada, who recently got in trouble for ripping off Cher Lloyd with her new single, “Piece of Me”.
Not really surprising. She isn't the kind of person who works well in a group. She has a strong charisma about her but all the 'partying' and the attitude will likely see her go nowhere.
Another PCD album will never come out, mark my words. They'll just keep flipping through new members until nothing happens and it'll be revealed they broke up like a year prior and nobody knew because nobody cared
