Serious Question: Since when did record companies start issuing these plaques for international sales? I though certifications were country specific.

1) There's no such thing as platinum certifications for WW sales

and

2) This is for WW record sales, not album sales...there's no way his album sold 3 million WW when it barely sold 500k in the US

This album was pretty damn good.

It clearly says: OVER 3 MILLION COMBINED SALES WORLDWIDE. That means that both album and singles sales stand at 3 million.

This HAS to be shipments.
