I think some of the information Josep Vinaixa wrote on his blog was inaccurate. The post was written on Nov. 7th. and it says that the video was shot that week, which is untrue because, as Lee!! pointed out, it's been shooting. However, the information about being directed by Vince Haycock and AG Rojas (both of them, actually, shot 'Bounce') is true.
Personally, as AshleeSimpsonFan pointed out, it's the best decision to shot the video from 'Drinking from the Bottle' and become, as a consequence, the sixth (seventh if 'We Found Love' is included) single off his album. The song has done very well in the UK and Ireland and it also has been the only song which had a televised performance, so could rebound on these countries (I hope it could overtake its #17 peak on the UK Singles Chart) as well as in Europe and Oceania.
On the other hand, I don't think it will hurt 'Sweet Nothing' in the US. The main reason is because when "18 Months" was released, the only song that peaked inside the US iTunes Top 100 was, in fact, 'I Need Your Love', which dropped hugely because of its change to "Album Only". So, if there's going to be a fourth (fifth if we include 'We Found Love' as well) US single, I think it's going to be the latter, unless Ultra Records decides to promote 'We'll Be Coming Back'.
