Poll: Why are people still denying that Lana is no longer a nobody

Take note bitches- none of the Lipsters actually said she's dominating, the #1 artist this year, better than your fave (even though she is) blah blah blah. But how embarrassing and laughable is it to see you still DENY as if you all are blind when those receipts are blatantly in front of you and you keep coming back with false tea like "no one from my school knows her" "only a tumblr artist" "i don't see any H&M ads" the hell? If you can use that, then I can use my "even my brother who is in middle school and his classmates knows her and i don't live in america" receipt.

We're also AWARE that the radio doesn't play her- Lana herself said she doesn't want her songs played on the radio. At least in US. Use that receipt if her songs were ACTUALLY SENT on the radio. Plz stop saying she's not Alternative adding those RIP smilies whenever she mention she's alt. Really? Do you download her album and see her category as pop? Do you see professionals, billboard, industry people and blogs put her on the pop category? I mean, the reason why some people can't get into her is because she's not pop/dance/top 40 material. All we're saying is people doubted her. Her music is not commercial yet her fan base grew rapidly. Can't deal?

But explain this to me...

Are fading unknown artist projected to sell 75k for an EP (AN EP!) that wasn't promoted?

Has any internet only artist clocked 2 Vogue covers, an H&M campaign, Mulberry bag all in just ONE year?

Do artist only heard on ATRL sell 3 million albums worldwide?

Does it make you sleep at night knowing she's only known on tumblr?

Is it jealousy?

Music enthusiasts, fans and the youth are aware of who she is. These are the people who buy her records.
That being said, if you took those people away, some would not know her. She's famous, but not a household name.

No one is calling her household name. It's people like that who MAKE it seem like anyone is saying that, when no one is. Just don't be ignorant to her global appeal and influence this 2012. You don't need to be household name to achieve such other titles.

Most people. Yes she's not a household name. But I mean they come back to us with "This is why we don't like Lana, because of her stans" but they're the one making laughable posts in the first place. We know that she's not as big as the huge stars, but to tell us she's a complete unknown.
