What show have you seen that everyone seems to love, but you just don't get the hype over it?
For me, I'd say The Big Bang Theory. That show is truly awful and everyone I know is in love with it. Along with The Office. That show is NOT funny at ALL. AND the movie Avatar. That movie is boring as f*ck..

It was pure visuals
I don't get the hype around The Walking Dead either
The story is lame and the characters are all boring
Not even the (very well made) zombie kills make up for that
Arrow, Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men.
The Shining (the book is amazing but the movie has nothing special ), Avatar, The Reader, The Avengers, Titanic, Princess Mononoke, Revolutionary Road.
I have still not been able to finish the first season of Game of Thrones after trying to since the summer, it goes by so slow yet I still can't keep track of what's going on because I don't care about any of the characters enough to distinguish them from each other.
And people get REALLY offended when I say I didn't like Pulp Fiction... I guess it is kind of entertaining in like a b-movie sort of way but I do not get the high praise for it.
I find Mad Men and 30 Rock overrated as well although I don't personally know many people who actually watch them, I just tried them because of all the critical success but was not all that impressed.
Avatar was good. But I agree with you on The Walking Dead, I watched a few episodes and it's really boring. I'd also say Jersey Shore, Twilight, Fast and Furious series, Game of Thrones (also boring).
Avatar, definitely. It was a pretty good movie and I enjoyed it, but a lot of people on the internet were acting like it was the new Star Wars or something. And Two and a Half Men for TV shows. I thought i found it unfunny because i didn't like Charlie Sheen at first, but even after they replaced him with Ashton Kutcher, it was still terrible.
