They've both denied they're back together but insiders close to Rihanna have insisted that she is "on the verge of eloping" with Chris Brown.
The star has reportedly told mates that is is considering secretly marrying her ex. Rihanna insisted she hasn't reunited with Chris earlier this month, but the pair have been seen out on a number of dates together in recent weeks and it sounds like things have got serious very quickly.
"Rihanna has been telling her friends that she's on the verge of eloping. They've started talking about marriage and she hopes Chris is going to pop the question any day now. When he does, she's not planning to waste any time with an engagement either," an insider told Heat magazine.
"Even with all the drama they've been through, she has always imagined them having babies and living happily ever after," the insider continues.
"Chris hasn't formally proposed yet, but they've talked many times about their future together and getting married. Some people even think they could marry secretly in Europe."
Wow! That's quite a change from other reports doing the rounds including the news that Chris and his other ex Karrueche Tran having been enjoying secret meetings.
Insiders claim that while the couple aren't getting back together, they're still enjoying the “benefits” of being in a couple. “Karrueche and Chris are not together, so Chris can do whatever the f**k he wants to do,” a source told HollywoodLife.
“She doesn’t really care anymore. She’s happy being friends with him and she might not admit this but I know they’re more than friends…they’re friends with benefits and that seems to be cool with her right now.”
Chris meanwhile has denied he is back together with RiRi. In a radio interview the F.A.M.E star stated that they were working on rebuilding their friendship. “No, and that’s just quick, a quick answer,” he replied when asked if they were together.
“Me and her have history and me and her are definitely always going to be best of friends. And we're working on our friendship now.”
