Smuggler confesses to hiding drugs in rectum [Picture]

EL PASO, Texas — The man that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers said confessed to smuggling heroin within his rectum faces federal drug smuggling charges.
On Tuesday CBP officers said they noticed 57-year-old Pascual Alonso Acosta was acting unusual when he was in the pedestrian line at the Bridge of the Americas. He was asked by CBP officers to go to a medical facility for a thorough exam. CBP officials said Acosta told them he had a pair of drug-filled balloons hidden in his rectum.
The substance inside the balloons tested positive for heroin, said CBP officials.
A total of 91.8 grams of heroin was seized.
Acosta was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to face federal drug smuggling charges
Yeah, this isn't a rare thing at all. People swallow bags, stick them up their rectum, some others that I refuse to repeat or mention... the drug smuggling that goes on is quite scary really.
