Discussion: Do you enjoy Sci-Fi movies?

Sci-Fi makes some of the worst movies I have ever seen yet I continue to find myself watching them.

Do you enjoy Sci-Fi movies? Do you love how cheesy they are?

Not really. I love comedies the most.

I don't get why they have such horrible CGI I assume that they have enough money to make it a little better

I hate them with a passion. But oddly I tune in to watch them for a good laugh. The acting is usually over the top, and the CGI is like Sega Dreamcast or Nintendo 64

I love them .. They used to be great, but they are not fun anymore .. Yet, I still watch them

I feel you guys mean the SyFy channels. bc lots of SciFi movies arent cheesy and are actually serious. and yup I love them. Minority Report, Sunshine, Moon, The Island, Prometheus, Dredd etc.

A lot of them are really great and some of my fave movies of all time. But most of them have issues either with story, acting or CGI..
I can't watch old ones, cause I can't stand the pre-historic CGI
